School Self Evaluation (SSE) is a process that helps improve the quality of education in schools. It is a collaborative and reflective review that involves the whole school community.<\/span><\/p>\n As part of SSE at St Mary\u2019s, we gather information from various sources to assess teaching and learning. This helps us identify areas for improvement and set clear targets in a School Improvement Plan. The overall aim of SSE is to enhance learning experiences and outcomes for all students<\/span><\/p>\n We have been actively working to enhance inclusion within our school community.<\/span><\/p>\n We began by gathering feedback from students through surveys and focus groups conducted with the Student Council, allowing us to gain valuable insights into their perspectives on making our school a more inclusive environment. In addition, we surveyed parents through our Parents\u2019 Association to ensure that a broad range of voices were heard.<\/span><\/p>\n Alongside these surveys, we have explored various initiatives that promote inclusivity, looking at best practices from other schools and organisations. These initiatives and data collection efforts may highlight areas of concern or opportunities for further development, helping us to reflect on how we can continue to foster a welcoming and supportive school atmosphere for all.<\/span><\/p>\n Our next step in this process will be engaging with staff through surveys to gather their perspectives on inclusion in our school.
